President, LTL Connect, Inc.

John is the President of LTL Connect, Inc. based in Cardiff, Wales.  LTL is a company which provides forward thinking workplace human services through a sophisticated CRM and telephony platform.  John, one of the company’s two founders, has the international business development of LTL as his primary focus.  Additionally, he provides business development consulting services and is involved in mergers and acquisition activities.  Over his career, John has worked in the public sector, been a business owner, served on the senior management team of a large managed behavioral healthcare company, and been an independent consultant.  He is a frequent speaker at conferences and events, he has been published in many professional journals, he has been a member of numerous national employer and healthcare committees, and he has served in leadership capacities with EAPA both in NC and nationally.  In total, John has worked in the EAP field for 33 years.

The EAP industry is an industry whose purpose is to bring about improvement in employee’s personal and work life for the ultimate gain of the employer. Service to the employee and employer requires careful attention and focus on outcome. Technology is now being applied within the industry to ensure that the experience with the EAP provider is founded on a positive two way relationship. Customer Relationship Management (CRM) technology has proven to be effective is relationship building within many industries and is now coming to the EAP industry. Additionally, the web is now being driven by the end user through the evolution of social networking. Can web 2.0 be an asset to the EAP industry?
