About the Presenters

Facilitators Bob Pelley

Bob Pelley grew up in Illinois and completed his graduate work at Western Illinois University in 1985. He then went on to work at Colorado College in Colorado Springs and Elon University in Elon, North Carolina before accepting a position at a Regional hospital heading up a counseling program and continuing to teach Marriage and Family Therapy.

Bob has a daughter who is a sophomore in college studying architecture. Bob was widowed in 2004 and moved in 2006 to St. Louis, MO. Most recently Bob has taken a position at Care and Counseling as a Senior Clinician and Program Director.

Bob comes to you with a passion for family systems therapy, primarily from a structural approach. He post masters work was completed at the Virginia Institute of Family Therapy under the supervision of Joan Winter, PhD and Harry Aponte, ACSW.

 

About the Program

This seminar will be an overview of the basic concepts of systems thinking and it application to working with families. Special interest will be given to structure, role. Participants will have a chance to ask questions.
