About the Program
The following will be discussed in this presentation:
This workshop will focus on teaching the basics requisite to understanding the concept of Emotional Intelligence (EI). Included will be the most effective and relevant definition of the term, its distinction from, IQ, how EI and IQ function to enhance 'whole brain thinking', and the basic brain chemistry that distinguishes EI and why that is important to full comprehension. Also included will be a description and explanation of the 15 composite microcompetencies that comprise EI. Finally we will explore one or more of the more challenging competencies in depth and see how improvement can practically enhance whole brain functioning and productivity on an individual level as well as understanding how an EI aware culture can accomplish much more in terms of creativity and productivity than it can possibly envision without exposure and training.
